•USB Write Protect Most computer viruses are programmed to copy themselves onto USB drives as soon as they are connected to an infected PC. USB Write Protect is a simple program that prevents this from happening. Simply run the program and in the interface window select “Enable Write Protect” and click apply. Now the drive is write protected and it will not allow anyone to delete or write any data to the drive. Data can still be copied from the USB drive on to any computer though. To disable write protect, you’ll have to launch the program again and select “Disable Write protect”. You could also keep the program on the USB drive itself if you want to enable/disable write protect on other computers.
