The M580 Replenish is Samsung’s ecofriendly phone running on Sprint’s CDMA network. Over 80% of the device is made out of recyclable material with 34% of the outer casing built of post-consumer recycled plastic. Even the charger meets the EC code of conduct on energy efficiency of ex ternal power supplies. The M580 has a fair ly large 2.8-inch touchscreen and a full QWERTY keyboard running on Android 2.2. Hardware specs include a 600Mhz processor with 256MB RAM, 512MB ROM with expandable memory via microSD card (32GB supported), Wi-Fi, GPS and a 2MP camera. The phone ships in partially recycled plastic packaging and will be loaded with a variety of apps and content to promote eco-friendliness.
